About the Role:

We have an exciting opportunity to support our Loyalty team as a Director, Growth & Personalization Strategy based in Miami, FL. Very rarely will you find an opportunity like this one where we have all the tools, the data, leadership support, and team members to enable you to do what you love to do; leverage your analytical skills to identify new growth opportunities for our personalization efforts and take Subway to the next level of guest-centric strategy.

As the Director, Growth & Personalization Strategy, your analytical curiosity, combined with customer-obsession is what we're looking for to help our CRM, loyalty, and personalization teams identify new opportunities to drive incremental revenue using personalized communications through email, push, app, web, kiosk, etc. You'll be the business owner of our new guest data platform, where you and your team will mine the data to measure our targeted campaigns, testing agendas, and our ability to drive incremental sales. This role will require the candidate to be constantly identifying new customer cohorts or personalization opportunities through customer level insights and data analysis to help support our director of CRM. This position will also support the director of loyalty by identifying new tactics and strategies for driving increased member enrolment, redemptions, LTV, and migrations through the loyalty tiers.

You must also be comfortable working autonomously and being a self-starter is imperative, as this team member will need to spearhead the departments customer segmentation strategy through test & learn and predictive modeling. You will have two direct reports to help you unlock all of this potential.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:



  • Developing and implementing a test & learn methodology across the CRM and loyalty channels to increase customer activation, retention, and LTV.
  • Passionate about utilizing customer data and insights to deliver a personalized 1:1 experience across every customer touchpoint and finding opportunities to grow guest retention and LTV.
  • Maybe the most important function and trait in this role is that you'll need to be analytically curious, and constantly mining the data for new insights, answering ad-hoc questions about our guests, and sizing new opportunities.
  • Highly proficient with creating executive level presentations summarizing the opportunities you've identified through insights and then presenting a plan and vision of how to implement and accomplish that vision, and what the ROI will be from those efforts.
  • Utilizing strong experience with both email and push campaign reporting (e.g. you must be familiar with attribution methodologies, etc.) to identify new opportunities and optimize the existing contact strategy.
  • Owning the reporting and analysis of our customer lifecycle migration efforts, measuring our ability to increase LTV, and monitoring our impact of personalization to our guests retention and spend.
  • Experienced with both acquisitions and retention strategies to enable an omni-channel personalization contact strategy.
  • Proficient in modern MarTech solutions and utilizing technology to optimize, automate, and predict customer engagement and growth opportunities.



Qualifications (some examples listed below):



  • Bachelor's Degree and 8+ years of related experience.
  • Analytically curious is a must.
  • Very comfortable working in white space, and with very little direction, to identify new opportunities that will drive innovative ways to personalize our guests experiences.
  • Highly experienced in SQL coding, as you will be querying and navigating our guest marketing data warehouse daily.
  • Extremely comfortable with navigating raw data table structures and joining unstructured data to identify new customer growth and targeting opportunities.
  • Experience with Tableau or similar data presentation tools.
  • Experience with machine learning and Adobe platform, a plus.
  • Ability to not only identify new opportunities using data mining but also curating your findings into a strategy that can be presented to executives.
  • Executive level presentation experience, with excellent communication skills; inclusive of being able to tell the story - end to end.
  • A champion of data and customer-driven approach to informing strategic roadmap.
