Position Purpose
Under supervision, this position will prepare environmental and biological samples for analysis. Responsibilities include updating sample queue, verifying sample manifests, following sample preparation protocols, sample disposal, and managing undergraduate student workers.

Curious about Environmental contamination? How to measure it in air, water, and soil, and assess human exposure? Looking to grow your lab skills? The Trace Element Analysis Lab is an established lab serving the Dartmouth research community and other academic institutions across the US. This position would be a good fit for someone looking to build and grow their lab and instrumentation skills in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications - Education and Yrs Exp Bachelors or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • General chemistry coursework
  • Prior lab experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree
  • Significant coursework in chemistry
  • Management experience
