Centennial Peaks Hospital is currently accepting applicants for a Cook-PRN. This candidate will be responsible for the preparation and serving of patient and staff meals and snacks according to dietary guidelines. responsible for cleanliness of work area according to dietary procedures. This is an as needed position and requires flexibility in hours and days needed to work. ****May transition into a full-time position.

This position is eligible for our generous shift differentials: Weekend Day (Sat-Sun) $2/hr, Evening (Mon-Thurs) $3.25/hr, Weekend Evening (Fri-Sun) $5.00/hr, Night (Mon-Thurs) $5.00/hr, Weekend Night (Fri-Sun) $7.00/hr.

*must work three and a half hours (3.5 hours) into a shift to qualify for shift differential.

Responsibilities Include

• Interacts with team members/floor staff and answers the phones with a pleasant tone.
• Ensure proper food handling and sanitation practices are followed
• Maintain kitchen equipment and work areas in a clean and organized manner.
• Cleans the surface of all equipment used including: steamer, stove top, stove back, all ovens, along with walls in back of equipment
• Adheres to the menu for production and produces enough food to feed all patients & staff
• Records food in the temperature logbook in accurate and timely manner.
