Palmetto Lowcountry Behavioral Health is now seeking to fill our Nurse Manager position.

Position Summary

As a member of the Nursing Management Team the Nursing Manager has 24-hour responsibility for one or more nursing units.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage and deliver quality general and psychiatric nursing care to all patient populations for treatment of psychiatric, emotional disorders, and addictive disease.
  • Serve actively and constructively as a member of the multidisciplinary treatment team.
  • Provide administrative support to staff.

Qualifications

Education

Graduate of an accredited college of nursing. BSN or BS preferred. Specialty certification also preferred.

Experience

Two (2) years of experience in an acute care setting. Behavioral Health or Acute Psychiatric experience preferred. Two (2) years of experience managing employees, staffing, budgeting.

Age-Specific Competencies

Child, Adolescent, Adult and Geriatric

Licensure/Certification

Current SC RN license or current RN license from a compact state. CPR/CPI Certification Required
