Position Title: Machine Operator
Wage: $15.00/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 6:30am - 3:30pm (Monday - Friday, Saturday as Needed) Reached a dead end at your current job? Check out how this position can create a new path! QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for a Machine Operator at a food manufacturer in Montgomery City, MO. This is a potential to hire position. Apply now! Machine Operator Responsibilities: - Obtain copy of production schedule and ensure proper set-up - Inspect machine for cleanliness - Set up weight, feed buckets and vibratory pan - Program packaging machine to accommodate target product - Assist packer in evaluating first 10 bags produced at startup and every changeover thereafter - Operate packaging machines at appropriate speeds - Monitor weight limits to ensure bags are meeting specifications - Monitor printer characters and blocks to ensure code date is legible and accurate - Communicate with seasoning operators and machine operators to ensure proper product seasoning and coverage - Fulfill necessary paperwork and reports - Prepare equipment for changeover Requirements for Machine Operator: - Ability to stand for up to 10 hours per day - Comfortable with repetitive hand and wrist motions - Dependable and punctual - Team player with a positive attitude - Previous machine operation or manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
