BRAND DIRECTOR, WATERFORD

OUR ROLE

Are you ready to take the lead in shaping the future of a globally renowned heritage luxury brand? At Waterford, we're looking for our Brand Director to drive our brand vision and align merchandising strategies, while keeping up with evolving consumer demands. Reporting directly to the President, Waterford & Americas, you'll collaborate closely with our Creative Director and cross-functional teams to integrate creativity and a commercial strategy, to accelerate Waterford globally into a luxury lifestyle brand.

Along with your team, you will play a critical role in defining our competitive edge and identifying areas for expansion, ultimately driving our P&L growth and enhancing brand equity on a global scale. This is an exciting opportunity to make a lasting impact by balancing innovation in product and new categories, with a globally consistent brand with a deep respect for Waterford's heritage.

This is a hybrid role based in New York City, with travel to key markets as needed.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

In this role, you'll lead the development and execution of Brand and Marketing strategies to deliver on Waterford's creative direction and commercial goals. You will ensure our products and channels meet the demands of an ever-changing global market, delivering on yearly targets while maintaining brand consistency across our different regions. Your strategic Brand vision will be key in harmonizing the efforts of local marketing teams with our worldwide objectives, all while mentoring a team that drives excellence across the board.

  • Develop and implement Brand and Marketing Activation strategies to meet Brand & Commercial goals

  • Develop and implement Merchandising strategies that align with the Brand vision, focusing on both existing offerings and new product categories

  • Lead channel strategies, balancing DTC (online and offline) with 3P channels in key markets

  • Collaborate with local sales and marketing teams to execute brand, merchandising and channel strategies in line with market commercial plans

  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities

  • Manage budgets for brand and merchandising initiatives, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently

  • Mentor and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence and creativity

WHO YOU ARE

An experienced leader, you have a proven track record of driving commercial success while ensuring the brand maintains its creative integrity. You have a passion for building strong brands and a deep understanding of brand management in a global, luxury focused market. Your ability to collaborate across different departments and regions will be essential in implementing strategies that deliver results. As a leader, you are as comfortable mentoring your team as you are taking a hands on approach to drive key initiatives. You thrive in fast paced, dynamic environments and have a strong appreciation for heritage brands.

  • Over 10 years of experience in brand management, ideally within luxury consumer goods

  • Strong background in global interiors or home lifestyle brands

  • Proven success in developing and executing brand and merchandising strategies

  • Excellent leadership and people management skills with a talent for coaching teams

  • Experience working in international markets with a sensitivity to cultural differences

  • Outstanding analytical, communication, and interpersonal abilities

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; MBA preferred

Salary Range: $180,000-$200,000 Annually
