PURPOSE/SCOPE:

The National Accounts Sales Manager is responsible for developing a sales plan to achieve IPC National Account growth objectives. The growth plan will be driven by expansion into new markets and channels and supported by the IPC regional sales force for local customer support.

GENERAL RESPONISIBILITIES:

Prospecting: 50%

Collaborate with the VP National Accounts and IPC Marketing team to develop prioritized prospect lists to align with IPC target markets
Develop and deliver executive level sales presentations to prospective customers

Account Set Up:10%

Responsible for following prospective customers through the sales funnel to account set-up
Develop comprehensive offer including product, pricing, after-sales service plan, and terms
Customer set up including new customer approval process, customer training, customer specific selling tools and engagement of IPC field sales team as appropriate

Account Management: 40%

Manage and grow assigned existing accounts
Responsible for annual price adjustments, customer satisfaction, customer complaint management and forecasting
Create and implement new product introductions, promotions and incentives
Responsible for all product lines including floorcare, windows, and vacuums

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:

Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
Preferred sales experience to include:
a minimum of 5 years of sales and/or business development experience
Experience developing and implementing sales planning
Experience with executive selling and senior decision makers
Track record of successful sales performance

Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $60,200 - 90,200 with an Incentive of $33,700 at plan

Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. Tennant Sales and Service Co. reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualifications of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity. Total Compensation = Base Salary + Benefits
