Enveniam LLC is seeking a Chief Financial Officer.

Job Description:

Enveniam is growing, and we need a leader who can guide the financial systems that empower us. We are searching for an experienced chief financial officer to join our team of high-performing companies and professionals and keep our finances positioned for continued success. The CFO will have a day-to- day, ongoing impact on company operations, helping us to analyze, strategize, and grow our financial position. This seasoned strategist not only will understand current accounting and finance compliance, practices and trends but also will have experience raising capital and adapting to change, whether it's through growth or downsizing. As a member of senior management, the CFO will be comfortable in a leadership role that requires clear and effective communication skills.

  • Take responsibility (either directly or via staff) for all cash management, investments, insurance, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, and help drive the company's financial strategy and hiring needs.
  • Coordinate development of annual operating, capital, and program budgets, as well as reporting for the same.
  • Ensure cash flow is compatible with all companies and operations by keeping a watchful eye on activities and maintaining a strong internal-control environment.
  • Develop and implement best practices and tools to ensure a well-controlled yet flexible organization that has strong fiscal management, project coordination, cross-team communications, and workflows.
  • Comply with national and local financial requirements by studying existing and new legislation and taking appropriate action.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership:
    • Partner with the CEO and executive team to develop and execute the company's strategic plan.
    • Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions and long- term growth.
    • Responsible for the quarterly board package and reporting of results and performance to the Board of Directors.
  • Financial Planning & Analysis:
    • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling processes.
    • Analyze financial performance and provide actionable insights to improve profitability and efficiency.
  • Accounting & Reporting:
    • Review and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with GAAP/IFRS and other regulatory standards.
  • Risk Management & Compliance:
    • Identify and manage financial risks, including liquidity, credit, and operational risks.
    • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and internal policies.
  • Capital Management:
    • Manage capital structure, funding strategies, and investor relations.
    • Oversee treasury functions, including cash flow management and investment strategies.
    • Prepare and/or oversee preparation of all debt covenant compliance related reporting and ensure the Company is in compliance with all credit agreement covenants.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Build and lead a high-performing finance and accounting teams.
    • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and professional development.

Requirements:

  • Fifteen plus years of experience in financial leadership, ideally in a senior executive role.
  • Strong knowledge of corporate financial regulations and risk management practices.
  • Proven track record of managing complex financial operations and leading cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent leadership skills, with steadfast resolve and personal integrity.
  • Exceptional analytical, verbal, written, and visual communication skills.
  • Understanding of advanced accounting, regulatory issues, tax, cost accounting and indirect rate structures.
  • Successful drug screening.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree (or equivalent experience) in accounting, business accounting, or finance.
  • International finance experience.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and financial software (e.g., Unanet, SAP, Oracle).
  • Experience in mergers and acquisitions and investor relations.
  • Professional certification(s) (i.e., Certified Public Accountant).

Location/Work Arrangement:

  • This position is a Hybrid Work Arrangement in Oak Ridge, TN with some travel/onsite requirements.
