Posting Summary
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Lesson Plan Developer - Part-Time/Temporary for Scarlet Arts Rx. Reporting to Scarlet Arts Rx Director, the Lesson Plan Developer will provide comprehensive administrative and programmatic support to help develop lesson and implementation plans to integrate the arts for well-being into Rutgers curricula and student development programs.
Among the key duties of this position are the following:

  • Assists with Scarlet Arts Rx program planning and implementation.
  • Develops arts and well-being lesson plans for Gen Bio, Chemistry, Engineering, Douglass Residential College, cultural centers and other subjects/entities as needed.
  • Attends meetings with partners to co-plan lessons and implementation details.
  • Assists with events promotion.
  • Assists with in-person implementation or co-implementation of events, including events that may occur in the evenings and periodic events on weekends.
  • Collects and enters evaluation survey data into Qualtrics.
  • Collects qualitative data (e.g., student testimonials) at events.
  • Take photos at Scarlet Arts Rx events.
  • Attends frequent online meetings with the Director.
  • Assists other administrative and organizational tasks as needed.

FLSA Nonexempt
Salary Details $30/hourly

Qualifications


Minimum Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and one year of relevant experience in an administrative function, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
Certifications/Licenses
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong organizational and administrative skills.
  • Ability to multitask, plan and lead small projects, and maintain accurate records.
  • Demonstrated ability in collecting and evaluating data.
  • Excellent communication, sound judgment, and the ability to escalate issues appropriately.
  • Demonstrated ability of working successfully and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven professional environment.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Computer literacy in Qualtrics, Concur, Canvas, Canva, Word, Outlook, Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, PowerPoint, and willingness to learn new platforms.
