Steelcase is seeking a forward-thinking Healthcare Market Development Leader to drive our growth across Boston and the greater New England region. As the key sales leader for our healthcare vertical in this region, you'll work with world-class dealer partners, engage directly with healthcare providers and design influencers, and leverage Steelcase's deep research to deliver meaningful solutions that improve outcomes for patients, clinicians, and healthcare systems.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Drive Strategic Growth: Lead business development initiatives tailored to healthcare, identifying growth opportunities in acute, ambulatory, and outpatient settings.

  • Be the Clinical + Business Connector: Bridge clinical understanding with spatial solutions-serving as a trusted advisor to providers, designers, and internal teams.

  • Leverage Industry Expertise: Stay ahead of trends in healthcare delivery, innovation, and design-and apply that insight to shape go-to-market strategy.

  • Engage Key Stakeholders: Build strong, long-term relationships with dealers, A&D firms, healthcare executives, and other decision-makers across the continuum of care.

  • Influence Product Decisions: Drive product specifications and guide consultative sales engagements that reflect Steelcase's research-backed solutions.

  • Confident, consultative communication style; you can speak with designers, clinicians, architects, and executives alike

  • Ability to travel throughout the region (day trips & overnight stays as needed)

  • Comfort working onsite at our Boston-based dealer partner office when not traveling

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare, interior design, architecture, sales, or a related field

  • A true passion for healthcare and improving the spaces where care happens
