Storeroom Purchaser Location(s): Feura Bush, NY, US, 12067 Function: Sourcing Audience: Experienced Professional Work Arrangement: On Site Requisition ID: 65472 Description: The Storeroom Purchaser is responsible for ensuring the efficient and compliant operation of the storeroom, as well as the timely procurement of materials, equipment, spare parts, and supplies required to support plant operations and maintenance activities. This role integrates purchasing responsibilities with storeroom oversight, ensuring that critical resources are available in the correct quantities, at the right time, and at optimal cost. The position is accountable for evaluating and selecting suppliers, negotiating purchasing terms, issuing and tracking purchase orders, and maintaining accurate inventory records through SAP. In addition to procurement, the Buyer and Storeroom Supervisor leads all storeroom functions, including supervising daily operations, enforcing housekeeping and safety standards, conducting inventory audits and cycle counts, and ensuring the secure and organized storage of materials. The position requires strong communication and collaboration across all levels of the organization, as well as with external vendors and service providers, to ensure alignment with quality, safety, and operational standards Reports to: This position reports directly to the Delmar Site Warehouse Leader. The base salary range for this position is $76,000, with the potential for up to an additional 25% if the applicant hired has additional related qualifications.
