Job Summary

Responsible for leading, supporting, and optimizing our sales operations functions to drive efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability for national, regional, or local markets. Optimize sales effectiveness in partnership with other sales partners. Engage and inspire the team to drive profitable business results. Monitor, analyze, and report on sales results.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities
Contract Management:

  • Collaborate with Sales and Sales Success (RFP) teams during the RFP process to align project goals, legal risks, and contract requirements.
  • Serve as a liaison between Sales, Legal, and Project Managers during the negotiation of Master Project Agreements.
  • Oversee contract deliverables, ensuring all terms and conditions are met, and administrative tasks are managed effectively.
  • Develop in coordination with Corporate legal, contract process efficiencies.

Sales to Project Management/Ops Handoff:

  • Organize and facilitate meetings between Sales and Project Management to ensure project requirements are clearly communicated and documented.
  • Assist in the development of project charters and project setups, with a focus on contract and subcontractor elements.
  • Coordinate handoff processes, ensuring alignment across Sales, Project Management, and Operations.
  • Provide detailed reporting to the Delivery team while maintaining close collaboration with Sales.

Project Support and Additional Tasks:

  • Collaborate with the team on the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for Sensus Tower Trucks/Mobile Trailers.
  • Assist in SOP development for the Smart Utility National Branch.
  • Participate in the Salesforce to Microsoft D365 transition task force, influencing CRM design and contributing to data analytics and dashboarding solutions.
  • Identify, analyze, and optimize opportunities through data development and enhancements to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Supports key performance metrics and dashboards.

Work Environment

  • Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
  • Typically requires frequent overnight travel, up to 50%.
  • Frequent periods are spent standing or sitting in the same location with some opportunity to move about. Occasionally there may be a requirement to stoop or lift light material or equipment (typically less than 8 pounds).

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age or older.
  • Must pass pre-employment assessment(s) if applicable.

Education and Experience

  • Typically requires BS/BA in related discipline.
  • Generally, 7+ years of experience in a related field. May require certification. Advanced degree may offset less experience in some disciplines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years' experience in the water, wastewater, or treatment plant industry.
  • 3+ years' experience sales or sales support experience
  • Strong analytical and problem - solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
