JOB SUMMARY: The Supervised Family Interactions Worker is responsible for providing court-ordered supervision between children who are in temporary foster care placement and their families. Visits are also conducted for biological parents who have been ordered to participate by Family Court. Supervised Family Interactions Workers arrange and supervise visits, observe interactions, and, when necessary, transport children/parents to and from visits. Information from these visits is documented and reported to the Waukesha County Child & Family Services Social Worker. This is an ideal position for both experienced professionals and individuals new to the field. Current students exploring the human services field and seeking flexible hours are welcome to apply! KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE SUPERVISED FAMILY INTERACTIONS WORKER:
LOCATION: Waukesha, WI. Local travel is required for client home visits and/or transporting clients to visits. SCHEDULE: Part-time hours are varied. Most hours are available during evenings and/or weekends. Limited daytime hours may also be available. The Supervised Family Interactions Worker has some flexibility to manage their own schedules by coordinating directly with clients. WHY WORK WITH PSG/CIP?
