A Day in the Life:

Provide administrative support to multiple departments, interacting with colleagues of all levels. This position requires the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and perform a wide variety of administrative functions, along with ability to interact on a professional level with all levels of management. The position will ensure positive first impressions by greeting visitors as the first point of contact.

Position Details:

6:00am - 3:00pm The compensation range for this position is $25.00 - $31.00

In addition to the regular compensation, this role is also eligible for an annual incentive bonus.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Greets visitors, answer inquiries, or refer visitors to the appropriate person/department.
  • Maintain visitor logs, issue and collect visitor badges.
  • Receive, sort and coordinate pickup of daily mail/deliveries.
  • Receive, respond and route incoming phone calls; forward messages as needed.
  • Perform general office duties such as ordering supplies, filing and maintaining records management database systems.
  • Organize and coordinate meetings, conferences and meals as needed.
  • Demonstrate expertise in on-line tools and systems, maximizing utilization and driving efficiency.
  • Assist plant administration manager preparing and submitting reports.
  • Collect data and prepare reports as requested by local management.
  • Provide project support as needed.This may include financial tracking related to budgets, cost centers or invoices; safety activities; volunteer coordination or other departmental priorities.
  • Answer questions, provide assistance when needed, and present a professional and courteous image.
  • Process/code/track invoices. Set up vendors in SAP as required.
  • Receive purchase orders in SAP upon delivery.
  • Has the responsibility to report all food safety and quality issues to persons having authority.
  • Assist HR Manager with recruiting process locally as well as new hire onboarding to include drug screen, physicals, orientation and preparing new hire documents.
  • Support the plant manager with all administrative duties as assigned.
  • Any other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3+ year related experience
  • Self-starter with the ability to set direction, prioritize and manage competing priorities
  • Excellent communication, organizational and customer service skills
  • Proficient computer skills - MS office suite and Outlook
  • Ability to interact with all levels of the organization
  • Team-orientation with strong collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High Schooldiploma/GED preferred
  • Experience in a production facility preferred
