Job Overview: Through collaboration, strategy, process improvement and innovation, the Loyalty Sr. Analyst will be an integral team member in what drives and determines our success as a business. The Loyalty Sr. Analyst is responsible for growing the impact of the Bloomingdale's Loyalist Program through thoughtful analysis and research. The person in this role will need to generate and synthesize numerous reports to draw insights regarding Loyalist program performance by month, season, event, and initiative. In addition to reporting, the Sr. Analyst will need to identify areas of strength and opportunity to make recommendations regarding the health of the program. The ideal candidate has exceptionally strong Excel skills and can maintain accuracy while juggling multiple projects of varying priorities. Essential Functions: Analytical Skills & Storytelling: This role requires the ability to distill complex data into clear, actionable insights and communicate findings through compelling, business-relevant narratives. * Own and maintain all Loyalist reporting; serve as subject matter expert on analysis and insights. * Conduct ad hoc analyses to identify opportunities that optimize offers, drive acquisition, and generate incremental sales. * Prepare and occasionally present KPI reporting and strategic insights for leadership reviews. * Proactively identify and resolve data inconsistencies across multiple reporting sources. Offer Execution: This role requires precision and timeliness in programming targeted offers, ensuring flawless execution and audience alignment. * Program and deploy targeted offers accurately and on schedule. * Collaborate with Contact Strategy and Database teams to define audiences and assess offer impact. * Partner cross-functionally to support end-to-end offer execution, from setup to performance tracking. * Provide support across the Loyalty team, including analysis, reporting, and offer-related tasks. Offer Strategy: This role requires strong collaboration and strategic thinking to develop compelling, business-driven offers. * Leverage historical data to craft effective offers for the core "Perk of the Month" benefit. * Analyze trends by location, channel, and business category to identify opportunities for incremental Loyalist and Credit sales. Qualifications and Competencies: * 2-4 years of related work experience with a background in Marketing or an analytical role preferred * Strong data storytelling skills and ability to present complex information in a compelling and easy-to-understand manner * Creative problem-solver; translate business partner goals into solutions utilizing the offerings of our Loyalist program * Self-starter; showing the ability to manage multiple responsibilities independently while knowing when to escalate issues effectively * Highly analytical and strategic thinker with a customer-centric mindset and the ability to execute tactically. * Comfort & skill working cross-functionally, especially with marketing, digital, and data analytics teams, to implement loyalty initiatives effectively. * Eye for detail to ensure accuracy and quality in data analysis, reporting, and recommendations * Strong mathematical and reasoning skill set with ability to quickly identify correlations and out of balances, compute rates, ratios, and percentages * Excellent verbal and written communication. * Advanced Excel skills (proficiency in pivot tables, look-up functions, "if" statements, etc.) Experience with BI tools, including but not limited to Tableau and experience with customer database systems a plus This job description is not all inclusive; additionally, Macy's, Inc. reserves the right to amend this job description at any time.
