OVERVIEW:

Working as Full-Time UX Strategist, you will be responsible for developing and driving the user experience strategy across digital platforms, ensuring that every touchpoint aligns with both customer needs and business goals. This role involves conducting high-level research, setting long-term UX visions, and collaborating with key stakeholders to deliver seamless, user-centered experience. This role is responsible for overseeing UX initiatives, optimizing users journeys, and ensuring that design decisions are data-driven and strategically aligned with objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

o Collaborating with leadership and key stakeholders to integrate UX goals into broader business strategies

o Analyzing, mapping and optimizing the end-to-end customer journey, identifying pain points, opportunities and critical touchpoints for improvement

o Using data from analytics tools to inform the UX strategy and optimizing the user experience

o Developing wireframes, flowcharts, and low-fidelity prototypes to visualize improvements to site navigation, product discovery, and the overall user journey

o Partnering with IT to translate wireframes and UX concepts into final UI designs, providing detailed design specifications and user requirements, ensuring the finished product aligns with business goals and branding guidelines

o Implementing A/B tests and user testing to validate UX decisions and continually refining the user experience

o Ensuring consistent UX across desktop, mobile and other digital touchpoints, for a seamless customer experience

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

The following skills and qualifications are required for this position:

o Possess or are working towards a degree in UX Design, Marketing, eCommerce or related field OR have at least 3 years' experience in UX design, preferably in a B2B or industrial setting

o Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities

o Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities

o Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision making

o Highly motivated, self-directed and customer service oriented

o Exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skills

o Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment

o Excellent time-management skills with strong attention to detail

o Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite

o Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)

FULL-TIME BENEFITS:

Fastenal offers a competitive benefits package to all full-time employees. This package includes Health, Life, Long Term Disability, and Dental Insurance, in addition to, paid vacation, sick leave, holidays, and 401(k) with an employer contribution.

COMPENSATION:

The base pay range for this position is $63,000 - 80,000. In addition to base pay, this position is also eligible for a bonus and/or commission.
