Location: Salem Hospital, 890 Oak Street SE, Salem, Oregon 97301 Your role with us As Manager of Access Services for the Emergency Department at Salem Health, your leadership role supports one of the busiest emergency departments on the West Coast. You will be responsible for overseeing a team of approximately 45 staff through five direct reports including supervisors and dispatchers. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring consistent, compliant, efficient, and compassionate patient access operations in an environment that changes daily. The ideal candidate is consistent, communicative, and adaptable-capable of creating structure while supporting staff resilience and delivering results. The role requires flexible hours to accommodate visibility across all shifts, especially during the initial phase of employment. The department is high-paced, high-impact, and requires a leader who can balance empathy with operational excellence.
