Your role with us

As the Urgent Care Clinic Manager at Salem Health, you will report to the Director of Primary Care and play a pivotal role in leading both the day-to-day operations and long-term strategy of our urgent care clinics in Salem and Woodburn. This position requires a hands-on, visible leader who rounds with purpose, actively engages in morning huddles, and is both physically and mentally present for their team.

You will oversee a team of over 15 providers, five supervisors, and a variety of direct reports, collaborating closely with two medical directors in dyad partnerships that drive improved outcomes. Key responsibilities include managing provider schedules, optimizing utilization and coverage, and ensuring efficient patient check-in processes while maintaining strict regulatory compliance.

Success in this role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment but also recognizes when to slow down to foster thoughtful collaboration and team decision-making. You'll be expected to inspire a culture of teamwork, positivity, and continuous improvement - where staff feel supported and take pride in their work.

We're looking for a unique individual who is curious, collaborative, detail-oriented, and grounded in healthcare - particularly urgent care. A "people person" with a strong sense of purpose and the emotional intelligence to lead through change, celebrate wins, identify and alleviate toxic behavior, and maintain a positive team culture.

This is the ideal role for an individual with clinic management experience seeking to take their leadership career to new heights with a growing, thriving health system centered around Care With Respect.
