Garver, a multi-disciplined and ENR Top 500engineering firm and consistent recipient of "Best Place to Work" awards, seeks an engineering CAD Technicianto join our established highway design team in our Tulsa or Oklahoma City, OKoffices. This position will be responsible for performing a wide array of duties for civil transportation projects including initial drawing setup, plan production, annotation, detailing, record drawing development, redlines, creation of public involvement exhibits, along with other miscellaneous drafting tasks with guidance and supervision.
Additional assignments may involve processing field data, organizing drawing and file structure, and coordination with multiple team members across several disciplines. The CAD Technician would be an integral part of setting and maintaining standards, developing tools, quality program compliance, including delivery of quality work as part of Garver's high standards.
Requirements


  • A Technical school certificate or an associate degree or higher in drafting, design surveying, or combination of relevant coursework and drafting experience
  • Understanding and application of drafting methods, standards, and procedures
  • Working knowledge of MicroStation or AutoCAD drafting and design software
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software
  • Working knowledge of Bluebeam or other PDF editor
  • Effective written andcommunication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with a mentor and as part of a team


Preferred Skills


  • Experience with MicroStation Geopak/InRoads SS10 and/or OpenRoads Designer
  • Two (2) plus years of related drafting experience in Transportation projects
  • Prior experience with ODOT, other DOT and Municipal projects, and CAD Standards
