At Walsworth, our team is the heart of our business, and we are currently looking for a Bindery - Lead to join our team! As a Bindery - Lead, you are responsible for supervising team members whose duties are to finish quality printed materials according to customer specifications. Help in accommodating schedule changes and productivity. This is a great opportunity for individuals eager to learn and gain experience in Bindery Operations, including working on perfect binding and stitcher equipment. Key Responsibilities



  • Stages work according to workflow to minimize unneeded down time; provides breaks without having to shut down equipment.
  • Adjusts work assignments to accommodate production schedule changes as required to meet customer's needs.
  • Ensure that job tickets, layouts and inserts (if needed) are available when the job is ready to start.
  • Verify product to eliminate errors and resolve any mistakes.
  • Assists operators in troubleshooting and performing general bindery functions when needed.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.



Minimum Qualifications



  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1+ years of experience in bindery operations
  • Ability to read and understand written and verbal instructions.
  • Ability to stand for long periods (minimum of 12 hours per shift).
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform frequent light to moderate bending and walking.
