Sr Software engineer

As a Software Engineer specializing in Cloud Data Platform tools, you will be tasked with driving the evolution and optimization of our data capabilities on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This role is central to ensuring that our data infrastructure is scalable, efficient, and aligned with the latest technological advancements. You will be responsible for designing and implementing cutting-edge data solutions that leverage a blend of cloud-native technologies and micro-services. Your role will require a comprehensive understanding of both front-end and back-end development to ensure seamless integration and operation of the platform's components. You will leverage GCP Services such as CloudRun, CloudSQL, BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Functions to build and manage data solutions that align with business objectives and enhance data accessibility and usability.

Skills Required:

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, and JavaScript frameworks. Cloud Development Experience ( GCP preferred). Strong in database concepts, data modeling, and SQL.
• Familiar with data engineering tools and practices.
• DevOps Tools and Processes (Git, Docker, Terraform).
• Excellent communication skills.

Skills Preferred:

• Hands-on development experience in GCP (Google Cloud Platform).
• Python programming and tools like Jupyter.
• Experience with Front-end frameworks like React/Angular. Data Engineering experience.

Experience Required:

• 5+ years of programming with expertise in Java/Python
• 3+ years experience in Cloud platform

Experience Preferred:

• UI Design - Full-stack Engineer Building and deploying REST API services using tools like Apigee , 42Crunch, etc.

Education Required:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Data Engineering,

Position type: contract, w2 contract Hybrid Position 2 Days per week onsite, could be different in future based on any policy changes
