Gensler is seeking a self-motivated, meticulously detailed, and customer-centric individual to join our team as a Human Resources Coordinator, working onsite in our NY office.

Your Role

You will partner with and support the New York HR teams with a variety of HR-related administrative duties and tasks. As a critical member of the team, you'll have a primary focus on HRIS administration, data collection for onboarding team members and generating and distributing reports related to productivity and timekeeping.

What You Will Do

  • Support Gensler New York HR functions and projects.

  • Assist with key HR functions and programs, including: New Hire Setup - Creating offer letters, conducting background checks, overseeing the distribution and collection of new hire onboarding documents.

  • Ensuring compliance with federal and local laws and practices, including NYS wage NYS wage notices, I-9s, etc.

  • Creating and maintaining personnel files.

  • Updating and maintaining organizational charts and rosters, including partnering with Finance to obtain monthly revenue numbers.

  • Responding to unemployment claims, requests for employment verification and other items as needed.

  • Work within our HRIS (Workday) to input new hire information, update fields and run reports as requested, ensuring good data hygiene.

  • Manage learning transcripts and associated data within Workday Learning (LMS).

  • Oversee the submission of continuing education units for team members to uphold their licenses and certifications.

  • Reporting - Running reports on monthly productivity, timecard analysis and PTO balance; providing findings to office leadership.

  • Responsible for HR meeting logistics, including but not limited to, conference room reservations, catering orders, and maintaining team calendar events.

  • Assisting and supporting HR team members on projects, initiatives and programs as requested.

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Human Resources or related field.

  • 0 - 2 years of related office experience in a team environment at a professional organization; some Human Resources experience preferred.

  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Experience with Workday HRIS is strongly preferred.

  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately

  • Self-directed and motivated, detail-oriented problem solver with ability to produce timely, high-quality deliverables

  • Must have the ability to recognize and report issues before they become significant, and assist in determining the best methods for resolution.

  • Team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to establish collaborative working relationships

**The base salary range will be estimated between $65-70k plus bonuses and benefits, contingent on relevant experience.
