Job Overview The Production Painter I is an entry-level position in a manufacturing environment responsible for performing basic painting tasks under close supervision. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint using standard tools, and ensuring that finished products meet basic quality standards. The Production Painter I is expected to follow detailed instructions and safety protocols while developing foundational skills in industrial painting. Key Responsibilities Basic knowledge of painting processes, including surface preparation (e.g., sanding, masking). Familiarity with using basic painting tools and equipment, such as spray guns, brushes, and rollers. Ability to follow simple work instructions and paint specifications. Attention to detail to ensure even application of paint and basic quality. Adherence to safety guidelines and ability to recognize potential hazards.
