LMI is seeking a Enterprise Knowledge Manager with a minimum of a SECRET clearance to support a United States Army customer with digital modernization, records management, data visualization, and workflow automation.

This position requires an active Secret clearance.

This position is remote but requires quarterly travel for planning increments.



Responsibilities

    Oversee the management and use of knowledge throughout the organization and ensure it aligns with organizational goals.
  • Develop and implement strategies for capturing, storing, and sharing knowledge.
  • Ensure that important information is accessible to the appropriate people when needed.
  • Create and manage knowledge systems and platforms.
  • Promote a culture of knowledge sharing and collaboration across departments.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of knowledge systems using relevant metrics.
  • Provide training and support to employees on using knowledge management tools.
  • Create and maintain content for knowledge repositories.
  • Conduct audits to identify knowledge gaps or outdated information.
  • Manage access and permissions to ensure data security.
  • Research and implement new tools to improve knowledge management processes.
  • Gather feedback from employees to refine knowledge systems.
  • Ensure compliance with data management regulations and policies.

You will be expected to work with senior government leaders, government civilians, and uniformed service members to deliver technical solutions, knowledge management, automate workflows, and ensure records management as part of a broader digital modernization effort at the Army command.



Qualifications

Technical Skills:

  • Knowledge Management Systems and Tools: Proficiency in using and managing knowledge bases, intranets, content management systems, and other KM software.
  • Information Architecture and Taxonomy Design: Strong understanding of how to structure and organize knowledge assets for easy access and retrieval.
  • Data Analysis: Ability to use KPIs and metrics to evaluate KM system effectiveness.
  • Data Management: Including governance, metadata, lifecycle policies, and integration of structured and unstructured data.

Soft Skills:

  • Communication and Collaboration: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical information to diverse audiences and facilitate cross-functional collaboration.
  • Strategic Thinking: Identifying gaps in organizational knowledge and finding solutions.
  • Project Management: Experience in managing knowledge management initiatives and overseeing projects.
  • Change Management: Leading teams through process improvements and driving adoption of new KM systems.
  • Leadership: Motivating and guiding teams to achieve organizational goals.
  • Organizational and Multitasking Abilities: Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Problem-Solving: Diagnosing inefficiencies and designing solutions to improve knowledge accessibility.
  • Continuous Learning: Staying updated with emerging trends and technologies in knowledge management, especially concerning AI and data integration.
