The eDiscovery and Surveillance team within Macquarie provides technology and services to retain, discover and conduct surveillance against Electronically Stored Information (ESI). As a global technology service, we partner with Legal, Compliance, Employee Relations, and Security teams across Macquarie during the eDiscovery phase of investigations.

What role will you play?

In this role you will lead a global team of 5 - 10 eDiscovery Specialists responsible for the delivery of preservation, collection, processing, review and production services. You will define and measure eDiscovery Service Level Agreements and manage relationships with internal and external customers. You will incorporate customer feedback into your partnership with technology, risk and security teams to continually improve the overall service delivered to those customers.

What you offer

  • Minimum of 5 years' hands on experience with leading eDiscovery review platforms (Relativity, Nuix, DISCO) with an emphasis on database setup, complex search construction and results validation, design of optimized review workflows including document batching
  • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with the use of TAR and other analytics (BrainSpace, NexLP) with an emphasis on the use of CAL /CMML and other techniques for deduplication, email threading, review prioritization, sampling, production quality control, privilege identification and other predictive models
  • Experience measuring and managing service requests by tracking efficiency, identifying issues, reporting on KPIs, ensuring timely resolution, and refining processes to improve service delivery and satisfaction
  • Minimum 2 years' people leadership or project management experience
  • Flexibility to collaborate with global teammates and customers on a weekly basis, including Australia and Philippines.
