Job Description

Torch Technologies Inc, is seeking a Acquisition Analyst with the ability to provide expert level technical advice and management advisory services to HAWK Project Manager, HAWK Project Office Contracts

Duties & Responsibilities:



  • Lead and upper management on all pre-award and post-award procurement requirements.
  • Candidate must provide subject matter expertise on relevant Federal and DoD contract management and administration guidance.
  • Coordinate with internal HAWK Project Office officials on future and ongoing contract acquisition activities.
  • Assist the HAWK Project Office leadership in developing acquisition strategies for future acquisitions.
  • Be able to lead Technical Evaluations, provide guidance to team members who conduct the evaluations, provide guidance to team members during contract execution and develop acquisition products such as Technical Instructions for ongoing acquisition projects.
  • Provide analysis on current acquisition activities to include financial data tracking of accruals, obligations and expenditures.
  • Apply the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) to future and ongoing acquisition activities.
  • Develop and implement strategies to maximize contract success. Monitor supplier performance and suggest corrective action when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of all acquisition activities. Provide detailed and timely reports to key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure successful contract completion. Evaluate acquisition requests and make recommendations.
  • Prepare and analyze data related to acquisitions, such as cost, scope, and timelines.
  • Develop acquisition products for future acquisitions such as acquisition strategies, and acquisition schedules.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as a government Contract/Procurement Analyst (equivalent to GS-12 experience in pre-award).
  • Knowledge in preparing all contractual documents included in a Contract Requirement Package (CRP) e.g., Performance Work Statement (PWS), J&A for other than Full and Open Competition, Combined Services Acquisition Strategy/Acquisition Plan (CSASAP), Independent Government Estimate (IGE), DD254, Market Research.
  • Knowledge of Windows based applications e.g., Word, Excel, Power Point.
  • Be able to work independently within a contract requirements team.
  • This role requires a combination of strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills to ensure successful contract execution.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret clearance
