Job Summary The Sales Support role provides essential assistance to the Account Manager (AM), helping manage customer relationships and maintain data integrity, particularly within IFFMan. This position acts as a key liaison between customers and internal IFF functions, supporting the brief-to-win process and ensuring timely delivery of customer requirements and resolution of issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the AM to enter customer briefs and related tasks into IFFMan.
- Ensure proper linkage between the brief-to-win and order fulfillment processes.
- Maintain accurate project, customer, and pricing information in IFFMan; communicate updates as needed.
- Proactively troubleshoot and resolve issues to minimize the need for AM involvement.
- Respond to internal and external inquiries on behalf of the AM.
- Facilitate, expedite, and track samples, documents, and creative tasks.
- Ensure timely and clear communication with both internal teams and external customers.
- Keep the AM informed of any potential disruptions in the brief-to-win process.
- Generate non-standard reports and maintain spreadsheets as required.
- Attend customer visits, lab tastings, and participate in meetings and presentations with the AM when possible.
- Develop a basic understanding of key IFF functional areas (e.g., Manufacturing, Logistics, Planning, Creative Lab, Consumer Insights, Finance, Customer Service, GRA) and participate in relevant training programs.

Requirements:
Essential:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and analytical abilities.
- Basic computer proficiency and adaptability to new systems.
- Proactive, customer-focused, and results-oriented mindset.
- Sound decision-making skills.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Proficiency in IFFMan, SAP, Outlook, AO, and Excel.
- 1-3 years of experience in a flavor manufacturing or related environment.
Additional Information:
- Occasional travel required (approximately 5%).
