Description Flock Manager The salary for this position is $107,952/year. Summary The Flock Manager is responsible for general oversight of a layer chicken operation; breeding of and caring for chickens while ensuring compliance with environmental and animal safety protocols. Key Responsibilities Oversee the health of laying hens and maximizing egg production, including developing Animal Welfare Plans and making daily feed decisions including rations, phase feeding, treatments, scheduling of feed times and ordering feed. Monitor Pest and Disease Control. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Agriculture, Animal Science, Veterinary Science, Poultry Science or related field. Demonstrated knowledge from studies and/or any experience working with the following: The health of laying hens; Maximizing egg production; and Cage Free poultry production.
