Job Description:

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Finance Manager to lead financial reporting, forecasting, inventory accounting, and fixed asset management across multiple manufacturing sites. This position plays a critical role in ensuring strong internal controls, accurate financial records, and compliance with corporate and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate brings strong manufacturing finance experience and thrives in a dynamic, multi-site environment.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities (but not limited to):

  • Lead monthly close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reviews across multiple sites.
  • Consolidate financial results and deliver accurate, timely reporting to corporate stakeholders.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis efforts.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance reporting efficiency and accuracy.
  • Develop and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and corporate policies.
  • Prepare for and support internal and external audits.
  • Create and enforce finance-related policies and procedures.
  • Manage cost accounting processes, inventory valuation, and physical inventory procedures.
  • Analyze inventory trends and propose adjustments for reserves or obsolescence.
  • Maintain strong controls over scrap processes and vendor relationships.
  • Support capital planning by preparing financial justifications and tracking project spend.
  • Oversee asset capitalization, disposals, and physical asset verifications.
  • Partner with operations to provide financial insights and drive performance improvements.
  • Collaborate with administrative and finance teams across affiliated organizations to support information exchange and alignment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive finance or accounting experience, preferably within manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with financial consolidation tools (i.e., Hyperion, OneStream) is a plus.
  • ERP system conversion or implementation experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial database systems.
