General Summary
Drives the strategic retail product offerings based on consumer needs to achieve revenue and EBITDA objectives. Accountable for creating and executing the retail product strategy, go-to-market, assortment planning and product development plans to meet the customer needs at Eyemart Express, leveraging consumer trends and market insights. Pay Grade and Pay Pay Grade: Full Time and Remote Pay: $108,596.11 - $135,744.61 Salaried Essential Functions Responsible for product assortments and Go-To-Market delivery to support the generation of EBITDA through investment annually leveraging the VSP Network Businesses and frame, lenses and contact lens partners, Shared P&L line responsibility for Product Cost % of Revenue (CoGS) and Working Capital Investment levels. Aligns product offerings with the company's overall business objectives, considering factors such as target market, brand positioning, and global trends. Creates and manages product assortments for different regions, ensuring optimal product mix to meet customer needs and maximize sales. Leverages in-depth market research to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in various markets. Works closely with design, sourcing, sales, marketing, and finance teams to ensure seamless product development and launch. Builds and maintains strong relationships with global suppliers to secure competitive pricing, quality products, and timely delivery. Analyzes sales data and inventory levels to optimize profitability and inventory turnover.
Job Specifications
Typically has the following skills or abilities:
Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience; Minimum of 1 additional year of experience related to functional area Minimum of 3 years of management experience with responsibilities for hiring, training, assigning work and managing performance of direct reports Ability to influence and collaborate across the organization with key internal and external business leaders, partners, suppliers, and customers. Ability to apply a variety of strategic frameworks to analyze problems and to guide and develop solutions. Ability to influence external organizations and stakeholders. Ability to understand the impact of technology on processes and structure. Strong change management skills Deep understanding of global markets and consumer behavior Proven track-record in merchandising and product development Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong financial management operating experience and knowledge of business acumen to include investment and budget management. Strong organizational skills
