Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Performs Radiography/Imaging services, ancillary testing, and collects specimens. Coordinates patient visits for Imaging services. Maintains a neat and orderly work area. Works in collaboration with the nursing team in obtaining patient vital signs, rooming patients, preparing exam rooms, etc. Communicates with ancillary staff in an effective and professional manner. Qualifications EDUCATION High school diploma or equivalent plus ARRT State of CT licensure. EXPERIENCE Imaging Services experience essential. LICENSURE ARRT State of CT. Licensure required. CPR preferred. SPECIAL SKILLS Exceptional interpersonal skills. Knowledge required of general Imaging terms and practices. PHYSICAL DEMAND While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to sit and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; climb or regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
