Summary of Position Kinsley is seeking skilled personnel to support our growingUtilitiesgas line crews in and around York County, PA. We are hiring for multiple positions, includingpipe foreman,equipmentoperators, andpipelayers. Ideal candidates will bring a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn. Typical Responsibilities / Essential Functions PIPE FOREMAN
- Lead and motivate a crew of 5 to 6 team members effectively
- Interpret job specifications, plans, and construction details
- Coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, and tools to ensure efficient job completion
- Complete daily timesheets and maintain job logs
- Demonstrate expertise in underground utility installation, replacement, and repair
- Promote and enforce safe work practices
- Perform additional duties as assigned
EQUIPMENT OPERATOR
- Operate heavy equipment safely, following Kinsley's standards
- Apply sound knowledge of construction practices and job site logistics
- Perform routine checks and basic maintenance on equipment
- Take on additional responsibilities as required
PIPELAYER
- Install and replace underground pipe in open trenches
- Join pipe and make service connections
- Perform live pipeline taps and tie-ins
- Identify and mitigate job site hazards
- Operate non-CDL dump trucks and service trucks
- Perform other related duties as needed
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in pipe installation
- Comfortable working around heavy equipment
- Able to lift, bend, carry, and perform other physically demanding tasks*
- Must pass a DOT physical and drug screening
- Valid PA driver's license and reliable transportation
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude
