Sales Support Specialist - Retail & Brand Execution

Location: Raleigh, NC
Full-Time | Field-Based | Travel Required

Are you a natural relationship builder with a passion for retail excellence and brand development? Join our team as a Sales Support Specialist, where you'll wear many hats-sales expert, brand ambassador, strategic advisor, and retail coach.

In this role, you'll work directly with our branded retail partners to elevate their in-store execution, drive promotional success, and ensure every location reflects the strength of our brand. You'll be the go-to resource for helping retailers grow their business, improve operations, and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

What You'll Do
  • Retail Coaching & Support: Train and support retailers on best practices in retail execution, merchandising, and brand compliance.
  • Brand Image Champion: Ensure all branded locations meet or exceed image standards through regular evaluations and proactive support.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop tailored action plans to help retailers improve store-level performance and customer engagement.
  • Marketing Program Activation: Encourage adoption of promotional programs, loyalty initiatives, and credit card offerings to boost sales.
  • Operational Improvement: Guide retailers in enhancing their operations, preparing for future growth, and becoming more customer-focused.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and report on image evaluation scores, promotional execution, and compliance metrics.
  • Facility Assessments: Conduct semi-annual site visits to ensure regulatory compliance and operational readiness.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with internal teams and suppliers to implement business plans and promotional strategies.

  • Increased retailer participation in marketing and promotional programs
  • Enhanced customer experience and store-level execution
  • Timely completion of facility assessments and compliance checks

What You Bring
  • Experience: 1-3 years in sales or customer-facing roles; retail or energy industry experience a plus
  • Education: Bachelor's degree preferred (recent grads welcome!)
  • Skills: Strong communication, time management, and multitasking abilities
  • Mindset: Results-driven, collaborative, and adaptable to different personalities and environments
  • Tech Savvy: Comfortable using digital tools and reporting systems
  • Travel: Willingness to travel frequently within a 50-mile radius of your assigned market
