Job Overview
The Speech-Language Pathologist I provides diagnostic evaluations and intervention programs for children with speech, language, learning, feeding/swallowing, or hearing disorders in all settings in which services are offered including but not limited to inpatient, outpatient, outreach, and telehealth programs. The Speech-Language Pathologist I is an entry level position in a Career Advancement Program (CAP). Qualifications
EDUCATION - Master's degree in Speech- Language Pathology or related field. EXPERIENCE - AAC and Autism experience preferred CERTIFICATION(S) - BLS for Healthcare Providers/CPR; American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)-Speech-Language Pathologist LICENSURE - State of Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license; Credentialing must be completed by the Medical Staff Office (MSO) within 3 months of employment Responsibilities
POPULATION SPECIFIC CARE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 1. Completes case management activities consistent with department quality assurance and quality improvement standards. Completes written documentation in accordance with department standards for format, location, and time frames. Assists in achieving departmental financial budget targets Physical Requirements
