KES is hiring a Global Compliance Director in Wichita, KS to lead its worldwide compliance capability. As the Global Compliance Director for KES, you will play a critical role in fostering a compliance culture that aligns with our company values and supports our diverse global operations.

This leadership role requires a strategic thinker who can navigate complex regulatory environments, collaborate across businesses and functions, and implement transformative compliance solutions. Our Team

As the Global Compliance Director, you will report to the General Counsel and work closely with cross-functional teams. The Koch Engineered Solutions legal and compliance team partners with KES's businesses to provide expert legal, compliance, and governance guidance. Our collaborative and principled approach enables us to address regulatory risks while allowing the business to thrive and innovate.

What You Will Do

  • Lead a cross-functional team of compliance professionals supporting the worldwide Koch Engineered Solutions businesses.
  • Participate in the KES Executive Leadership Team.
  • Develop and oversee a comprehensive global compliance program that aligns with KES's values and fosters principled entrepreneurship.
  • Identify, assess, and prioritize compliance risks, and implement risk mitigation strategies across global operations.
  • Lead the design and execution of compliance policies, procedures, and training programs that address areas such as anti-corruption, trade compliance, data privacy, competition law, and other regulatory matters.
  • Establish processes to monitor compliance performance, conduct regular audits, and report findings to leadership.
  • Oversee internal investigations into potential compliance violations and ensure appropriate resolution and remediation.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to provide compliance-related guidance on business decisions, transactions, and initiatives.
  • Promote a culture of compliance by delivering engaging training programs and ensuring employees are equipped to make principled decisions.
  • Stay ahead of regulatory developments and industry trends and represent KES in interactions with regulators and external stakeholders as needed.
  • Participate in Koch corporate level initiatives and collaborations to guide development of Koch-wide tools, programs and processes.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Experience in compliance, legal, or risk management roles
  • Demonstrated ability to assess and manage compliance risks in areas such as anti-corruption, trade compliance, regulatory reporting, and data privacy.
  • Experience leading and supervising cross-functional teams and driving compliance initiatives.
  • Proven ability to handle sensitive investigations with integrity and discretion.
  • Experience influencing and engaging stakeholders at all levels of an organization.

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Law, Business Administration, International Relations, or a related field.
  • Experience in compliance, legal, or risk management roles, including in global or multi-jurisdictional environments.
  • Compliance certifications (e.g., CCEP, CFE, CAMS).
  • Experience working in a compliance leadership role within a manufacturing, industrial, or engineering-focused organization.
  • Familiarity with the compliance challenges in emerging markets and high-risk jurisdictions.
  • Proficiency in leveraging technology and data analytics to enhance compliance monitoring and reporting.
  • Demonstrated success in fostering a culture of compliance within a large, matrixed organization.
