Pay Range USD $70,000.00 - USD $75,000.00 /Yr. Overview The Department of Mathematics at Clarkson University invites applications for a one to two-year, full-time, non-tenure track Visiting Assistant Professor position. We seek a dynamic and collegial scholar committed to excellence in both teaching and research. The ideal candidate will have expertise in applied data science and statistics, with the ability to contribute across a range of undergraduate and graduate courses. Clarkson University is a nationally recognized research institution known for its focus on technology, innovation, and sustainable solutions to real-world challenges. The successful candidate will join a supportive and collaborative department dedicated to high-impact teaching, student-centered learning, and interdisciplinary research. Teaching a 3+3 course load per academic year (three courses each semester), including undergraduate and graduate courses in mathematics and statistics such as Introduction to Data Science, Theoretical Statistics, and Bayesian Analysis.
