Security Operations Specialist

The purpose of this job is to assist the Security Supervisor by reviewing debit and credit card transactions for suspicious activity. Process compromise card alerts.

Review and decision transactions in TSYS fraud system (credit cards) and FIS/Falcon (debit cards) for suspicious activity. Verify activity with customer as necessary
• Process Mastercard/ /VISA Alerts for potentially compromised cards
• Assist internal and external clients with card issues
• Assist Card Services Customer Service with incoming calls
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Two years college or technical school and/or 3+ years' experience relating to the card industry
• Detail oriented
• Basic Computer skills Excel and Word
• Basic knowledge of debit and credit card operations
• Basic knowledge of Reg E and Reg Z relating to cards
• Basic knowledge of a card fraud system
• Advanced customer service skills
• Advanced decision-making and problem-solving skills
• Advanced ability to effectively communicate
• Advanced knowledge of TSYS preferred
• Advanced knowledge of FIS preferred
• Advanced knowledge of Falcon preferred

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions: Must be able to sit for long periods of time and use computer keyboard and/or mouse, while viewing computer screens.
