About the Opportunity

Digital Management LLC

DevOps Engineer Infrastructure

Full-time professional position headquartered in McLean, Virginia.

Duties:

    Responsible for designing, building, and supporting a secure cloud DevOps platform based on industry standards, best practices, and guidelines.
  • Determine technical standards and specifications and lead the design, build and support of shared services cloud platform components.
  • Provide professional support services and/or the integration of their respective products.
  • Review the current architectural landscape and make appropriate recommendations.
  • Design, develop and maintain Windows based instances and backend applications.
  • Research new technologies and products for their applicability to business processes. Provides tier 1 and tier 2 support for the platform. Adapt to new technologies and explain the differences and opportunities to technical and non-technical team members.
  • Implement and manage continuous delivery systems and methodologies by using Jenkins.
  • Apply experience in Amazon Web Services (AWS) provisioning and good knowledge of AWS services like EC2, S3, Elastic Beanstalk, ELB (Load Balancers), RDS, VPC, Direct Connect, Route53, Cloud Watch, IAM, SNS etc.
  • Integrate tools including Jenkins, Maven, NodeJS, SonarQube and automate the CI/CD process. Configure different plugins on JENKINS to integrate with GIT, MAVEN, NEXUS and schedule multiple jobs in Build Pipeline.
  • Deploy DOCKER engines in virtualized platforms for containerization of multiple applications.
  • Apply containerization & orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, mainly AWS EKS.
  • Use monitoring tools including Splunk, Zabbix, New relic, Cloudwatch, Prometheus, Grafana. Automate applications and infrastructure deployments, as well as managing application code repositories using Azure DevOps Pipelines and Repositories. Develop and manage YAML-based Azure DevOps pipelines or equivalent.


Qualifications

Education/Experience Requirements: A bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or a related computer systems engineer/architect or software developer position. Foreign equivalent degrees are acceptable.

Special Requirements: 3 years of verifiable experience performing computer systems engineering/architecting or software development duties employing the following technical tools: AWS, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Git.
