Senior Engineer, New Product Introduction

THE ROLE:

Entegris is seeking a Senior Engineer to join our New Product Introduction Engineering team. If hired into this role, you will be a key contributor to the technical success and growth of Entegris's slurry product lines. In this role, you will assume ownership for ensuring new product robustness, product quality, and the successful scaling of products and processes to high volume manufacturing at Entegris sites globally.

As a Senior Engineer, you will be expected to possess strong technical skills and be capable of proactively identifying project goals and meeting them with minimal instruction or guidance.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Initial Product and Process Development:

  • Partner with formulation scientists and other stakeholders to fully understand product and process requirements.

  • Conduct hazard reviews for all aspects of new formulations and processes to proactively identify and mitigate potential risks.

  • Create pilot scale procedures and provide training for pilot plant operators.

  • Summarize and present trial data to project stakeholders.

Ensure Product and Process Robustness:

  • Own the planning and execution of routine product evaluation studies to ensure a full understanding of the products characteristics.

  • Identify the need for and own the completion of non-standardexperiments to better understand and predict product performance, improved manufacturing processes, etc. Complete adequate follow up of findings, including the implementation of learnings into the manufacturing process.

Scale-up New Products and Processes:

  • Lead the development of optimized process designs for new product Introductions with an emphasis on all aspects of safety, quality, and production efficiency.

  • Develop and manage project scope/success criteria, completion of project deliverables, project timelines, and prompt issue resolution to drive the predictable execution of assigned projects.

  • Interface with a cross functional team at all levels of the organization including R&D, Operations, Quality, Finance, Legal, and Procurement to efficiently complete assigned projects.

WHAT WE SEEK:

  • Bachelor's Degree - Chemical Engineering or related technical field required.

  • 5 or more years of demonstrated experience in the chemical process, semiconductor, food, or pharmaceutical industry with background in process development, commercialization, pilot plant, quality, scale up or manufacturing.

  • At least 3 years of project management experience as the owner for project definition, timelines, and deliverables.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects and navigate ambiguity to successfully achieve objectives with minimal instruction or guidance.

  • Exceptional written and presentation skills.

  • Six Sigma DFSS or DMAIC GB and knowledge/application of related tools preferred.

  • A results driven individual with a strong work ethic abd a high sense of urgency, accountability, and initiative.

  • A continuous improvement mindset with high tolerance for ambiguity.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with an ownership mentality.

  • Comfort with challenging ideas and professionally managing challenges in order to find a solution.

  • An effective communicator, both written and verbal.

  • A strong business acumen and strong analytical skills.

  • Experience growing, building, and strengthening work relationships.

  • Compensation: $90,000-$116,500 per year range with actual pay dependent on candidate overall skills for the role
