Description of Responsibilities and Duties
-Provide high-profile, multi-layered, time-sensitive, and confidential administrative tasks on behalf of the Associate Vice Chancellor and Vice Provost for Institutional Engagement.
-Manage and process financial expenditures related to travel, reimbursement, check requests, office supplies, equipment orders, and credit card reconciliation for the Institutional Engagement unit.
-Maintain upkeep of the unit webpage.
-Other duties as assigned by the Associate Vice Chancellor and Vice Provost for Institutional Engagement.

Description of Work
The position provides high-profile, confidential administrative support and budget management to an Executive Leadership team member. This work requires meticulous attention to detail, effective written and verbal communication, and collaboration with diverse campus and community stakeholders.
Work Schedule and Hours
Monday - Wednesday; but flexible, and some Fridays and weekends
Required Qualifications
Graduation from high school and one year of related office experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

If no applicants apply who meet the required competency level and training and experience requirements, then management may consider other applicants. Salary would be determined based on competencies, equity, budget, and market considerations.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
-Experience working with a senior administrator and establishing collaborations across multiple campus departments, and maintaining/developing partnerships.
-Demonstrated ability to work with people of various backgrounds.
-Demonstrated skills in assessing levels of emotional distress and the ability to react with empathy.
-Experience exercising professional judgment and the flexible use of advocacy skills.
-Adequate interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
-Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to independently prioritize and complete work under multiple competing deadlines and frequent interruptions.
-Knowledge of computer programs such as Banner, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, budget systems and case tracking systems, as well as other essential applications necessary to fulfill the requirements of the position.
