$53,600.04-$67,000.05 Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Temporary Office Manager to support daily operations. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, communicative, and comfortable managing administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment. Oversee three programs; Norwood News, Jerome Gun Hill BID, MPC.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process invoices and ensure timely payments and accurate recordkeeping
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls professionally
  • Follow up with internal and external points of contact regarding outstanding issues, documents, or tasks
  • Perform general filing and maintain organized records (digital and physical)
  • Support normal office operations, including ordering supplies, scheduling meetings, and coordinating with vendors
  • Serve as the main point of contact for office-related questions or needs
  • Maintain a clean, efficient, and well-functioning office environment
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Prior experience in office management or administrative roles
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and general office software
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize duties effectively
  • High level of professionalism and discretion
  • Comfortable working independently and taking initiative

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with invoice processing or basic bookkeeping software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar)
  • Previous experience in a temporary or contract-based role
  • Associates degree preferred
