Supports a healthcare simulation laboratory learning environment based on contemporary best practices,cutting-edge technology and the testing of new approaches. Collaborates with the team and under the direction of leadership, works with faculty to support student skills acquisition, deliberative practice, and simulation based education activities. Works closely with content experts, course/program leaders and Clinical Simulation Program staff to develop, coordinate, implement and evaluate simulation-based education and events for the Clinical Simulation Program (CSP). Serves as simulationist by programming, testing and running scenarios with faculty instructors, assuring that faculty and equipment are set up for teaching sessions. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors degree in Nursing or Healthcare related discpline required Masters degree in Education, Simulation, Healthcare or related discipline required Simulation Certification for Healthcare or Equivalent required NYS Emergency Med Tech, Repiratory Therapist, Reg Nurse License, Physician License, Nurse Practitioner License, or Physician Assistant License preferred 1-3 years of experience with simulation, virtual reality, artificial intelligence,and emerging educational technologies required 1-3 years of experience in classroom clinical/allied health education with workingknowledge of curriculum development and assessment required 4-6 years Patient care experience in the area of practice.
