Job Title: Financial Auditor

Location: Englewood Cliffs, NJ

Pay Rate Range: 37.50 - 37.50hr

Financial Auditor

1. Experience with financial audits in a corporate setting

2. Ability to assess a variety of risks associated with Data Analytics' internal control systems

Responsibilities:



  • Review of Account statements: Auditors review the Account statements prepared by the company to ensure their accuracy, completeness, timeliness, etc. During this process, the auditor raises questions about the financial statements and recommends corrections if necessary.
  • Review of internal control systems: Auditors review Data Analytics' internal control systems to assess their effectiveness and adequacy. This plays an important role in error prevention, fraud detection, risk management, and more.
  • Risk assessment: Auditors assess a variety of risks associated with Data Analytics' financial position. These risks may include changes in accounting standards, industry regulations, and economic conditions.
  • Providing audit opinions: Finally, the auditor provides an opinion based on the results of the audit. This can come in the form of 'adequate', 'limited', 'negative', or 'neutral'.



Requirements:



  • 2-4 years of experience as a Financial Auditor in a corporate setting
  • Bachelor's Degree in accounting/finance
  • Must be able to reconcile large files of data
  • Must be able to write formulas to reconcile datasets.
