Japanese Bilingual Warehouse and Office Operations Assistant
Job Type: Full-time, Temp
Work Location: Redondo Beach, CA
Hours: 9am - 5pm (Monday - Friday) with occasional overtime/ change of schedule hours may happen, depending how company sales are as well as attending telephone conferences with JP HQ, etc.
Salary: $18.00 - $19.00 /hour to start (Depending on experience)
Overview:
We are seeking a diligent and organized Operations Support Associate (Warehouse/ Office) to assist with the resale and inventory management operations. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, a quick learner, and eager to contribute to the smooth running of our daily business activities. Bilingual Japanese skills required to read labels and communicate with management teams.
Key Responsibilities:
* Monitor and respond to communications received through various messaging platforms.
* Assist with day-to-day resale operations, including processing and preparing items.
* Support supply management by conducting daily, weekly, and monthly checks of inventory levels and assisting with reordering as directed.
* Report any operational errors or discrepancies observed during daily tasks to the appropriate team member for resolution.
* Participate in quarterly physical inventory counts (end of March, June, September, and December), helping to organize and verify stock.
* Perform other related duties in resale and supply management as assigned.
Qualifications:
* Prior experience in a retail, warehouse, or administrative support role is a plus.
* Basic computer skills and familiarity with messaging applications.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Capable of performing light lifting and physical tasks associated with inventory counts. The base pay range above represents the low and high end of the base compensation range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Actual base compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, actual experience, and job performance.
