About the Role:

The Product Compliance Specialist supports the Product Compliance team to ensure that our products adhere to relevant regulations, safety standards, and industry guidelines, working with cross-functional teams to integrate compliance requirements throughout the product lifecycle.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Documentation:Maintaining accurate records of compliance activities and documentation, including an online regulatory team library.
  • Intake and Tracking System: Managing the intake of regulatory requests from customers and tracking progress to completion.
  • Collaboration:Working with cross-functional teams (e.g., engineering, manufacturing, marketing) to collect internal product and raw material information.
  • Supplier Engagement:Working with suppliers to obtain part, raw material and regulatory information to ensure they meet compliance requirements.
  • Data Collection:Collecting, organizing, maintain, and analyzing data related to product compliance and regulatory review.
  • Training:Assisting with the development of training to employees on compliance requirements and their roles.
  • Process Improvement:Developing and implementing compliance procedures and processes.

About You:

  • Education:Bachelor's degree preferred, but an associate's degree and/or industry-specific credentials may suffice.
  • Experience:Relevant experience in product compliance, quality assurance, sourcing and supply chain or regulatory affairs is preferred.
  • Knowledge:Ability to learn and understand relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Skills:Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented:Ability to pay close attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Technology: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Experience working with supply chain data management platforms preferred.
  • Communication:Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and customers.
  • Research and Writing:Ability to write clear and concise communications and reports.
