Summary

Job responsibilities include managing the plant manufacturing quality systems delivering operational results that have moderate impact on the immediate achievements and results of the function. In this role the Quality Assurance Senior Supervisor will also receive long term strategic direction from the VP of Quality/Food Safety on additional areas or development for the function. This role interacts with internal parties in and outside of their own job area. This role has a responsibility for ensuring both food safety and quality of Chobani product in partnership with other functions. The below responsibilities are not all inclusive and are subject to change based on manufacturing location or business needs.

Responsibilities
  • Informs and collaborates others outside of their own job area to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, laws, standards and company policies, and ensure plant is inspection ready at all times
  • Support in investigations to determine root cause, corrective/preventive actions, and appropriate coordination/leadership of process improvements. Act as the primary contact for select RCAs (and determined by the Quality Manager or Senior Quality Manager) for Quality. Problems and issues for RCA are may be identifiable, numerous, and of low to moderate complexity
  • Creates tactical plans for a team of individual contributors (salaried and hourly)
  • Investigate microbial issues associated with in-process and finished goods. Investigate root cause of issues, generate corrective action plans, and ensure follow-ups and report outs to prevent recurrences
  • Create methodologies and processes for the collection and analysis of data ensuring accuracy and reliability for overall product quality evaluation
  • Supervisors a team of individual contributors and salaried direct reports (Microbiologist)
  • Suggests and/or make moderate modifications to existing systems and processes to improve effectiveness
  • Develop/revise/review company standards, SOPs, and forms to ensure accuracy to current programs and processes and regulatory compliance
  • Conduct internal audits to measure and assure adherence to established company standards, FDA and PMO requirements, customer requirements and SQF code
  • Support facilities Food Safety and HACCP plans as well as the SQF program
  • Provide coverage in the absence of the Quality Assurance Manager or Quality Supervisors when needed
  • Perform all duties as assigned
  • Follow Chobani safety procedures
  • Follow good manufacturing practices
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 3-5 years of quality assurance experience within the food safety industry, in the dairy preferred
  • Minimum 2-year supervisory experience or minimum 4 years in a leadership position
  • Strong leadership, training, written and verbal communication, and interpersonal and presentation skills to drive results

Compensation Range:$77,000.00-$115,000.00, plus bonus.
