AMSOIL is seeking a detail-oriented Regulatory Compliance Supervisor who will oversee and lead the Regulatory and Compliance Team. This position will be responsible for ensuring all AMSOIL products and processes comply with applicable domestic and international laws, regulations and industry standards. You'll collaborate across departments, including R&D, legal, manufacturing, and sales-to mitigate compliance risks and support product market access.

This position offers a hybrid work schedule with a minimum of 3 days in the office located in Superior, WI. Remote work capable dependent on proximity to the AMSOIL Center.

Core Responsibilities:



  • Oversee the Administration of Corporate Compliance Activities


    • Lead the Regulatory Compliance Team
    • Manage relationship and compliance with SDS Software supplier and serve as backup SDS author
    • Manage CHEMTREC relationships for document filing and service contracts
    • Implement policies for managing customer inquiries
    • Coach Compliance Team on GHS, SDS authoring and Private Labelling best practices
    • Advise Leadership on compliance risks, non-conformance, and mitigation strategies


  • Supervise Compliance and Product Registration/Documentation for all products


    • Manage and execute required actions and documentation for international, federal, state or local chemical regulations
    • Ensure implications of importing goods globally are managed appropriately
    • Oversee annual REACH, K-REACH reporting
    • Manage development of DRC's (Declaration of Conformity)


  • Legal and Compliance


    • Communicate with in-house council on compliance concerns
    • Utilize data and knowledge of industry best practices to identify product and process improvement, identify areas of non-compliance, and to consistently review and improve compliance policies and procedures
    • Support Quality and Environmental Health and Safety in risk management
    • Provide training to appropriate departments on new regulation implementation



Position Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, Regulatory and Compliance, other related field, or a combination of education and experience
  • 5 years or Regulatory/Compliance related work
  • Strong knowledge of industry specific regulations and standards
  • String written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional organization and attention to detail
  • Ability to effectively communicate and operate in a team-oriented environment


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Prior experience with SDS authoring and Consumer Labelling
  • A working understanding of chemistry
