Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer

Make a Real Impact-Where Precision Meets Innovation.

Join a high-performing team where your engineering expertise will directly influence production quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement. We're seeking a Manufacturing Engineer who thrives on solving problems, driving process improvements, and ensuring smooth production-from launch to mature operations.

What You'll Do:

As a key member of our manufacturing engineering team, you'll lead the development and optimization of machining processes, tooling, and fixtures across both new and existing product lines. You'll serve as a hands-on problem solver and process owner, driving improvements in cost, cycle time, scrap reduction, and production consistency using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Champion a culture of safety and best manufacturing practices.

  • Lead and support manufacturing process development and optimization throughout all phases-launch, ramp-up, and mature production.

  • Develop and maintain tooling, fixtures, CNC programs, and work instructions for machining operations.

  • Drive cost-reduction projects, cycle time improvements, and scrap reduction initiatives.

  • Collaborate closely with production teams to troubleshoot process and equipment issues in real-time.

  • Use SPC and Lean/Six Sigma tools to monitor and improve quality and throughput.

  • Support or lead FMEA, PPAP, and control plan documentation.

  • Interact with cross-functional teams (Sales, Quality, Design, and Supply Chain) to resolve technical or documentation issues.

  • Provide input to customer specification reviews and recommend design-for-manufacturability improvements.

  • Support MRB and Corrective Action activities to ensure timely resolution of production quality issues.

What You Bring:
Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering (or related field).

  • Strong background in machining environments with at least 3-5 years of related experience.

  • Demonstrated experience with PFMEA, PPAP, and process documentation.

  • CNC programming experience required; proficiency with HAAS controls is a must.

  • Experience with Fanuc controls, Murata, and Mori Seiki machines is a plus.

  • Experience in mistake-proofing (Poka-yoke) techniques is highly desirable.

  • Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing training preferred.

Technical Skills:

  • Expertise in machining processes including turning, milling, drilling, broaching, grinding, and balancing.

  • Ability to design and debug tooling and fixturing.

  • Proficient in reading engineering drawings and applying GD&T principles.

  • Comfortable using 2D CAD/CAM systems and interpreting CMM reports.

  • Strong communication skills-able to explain complex technical issues clearly to all levels of the organization.

Working Environment:

This is an office-based role with frequent time spent in the manufacturing plant. You must be comfortable walking production floors, troubleshooting equipment, and working closely with operators and technicians.

Why Join Us?

  • Be part of a team that values your ideas and encourages innovation.

  • Work on exciting new product launches and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.

  • Opportunity for growth in a company that invests in its people.
