Consulting Services Group (CSG) is a rapidly growing business with multiple US Government prime contracts providing cleared intelligence analysis, cyber security and telecommunications professionals. To sustain our growth, we are seeking a Technical Recruiter to join our team and undertake all hiring activities, from advertising open roles to interviewing candidates and closing hires, for our Herndon, VA Company Headquarters based location. As Technical Recruiter you will be working in partnership with internal stakeholders, senior managers, and HR on all aspects of recruitment. You will act as a subject matter expert for recruitment and help to improve and implement the current process, championing best practice recruitment and striving to deliver a fantastic candidate experience. Position reports to the Senior Director of Recruiting.

Duties/Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the full lifecycle recruitment process from requisition through to the on-boarding of candidates
  • Collaborating with hiring managers to set qualification criteria for prospective employees
  • Creating and publishing job postings in various portals
  • Creating informative job position attention gainer letters for e-mail campaigns
  • Review resumes and interview applicants to determine if they meet the position requirements and qualifications
  • Interview potential employees to determine if they would be a good fit for the organization's culture and needs
  • Coordinate with managers to schedule interviews with prospective employees
  • Review resumes, applications, and interview notes to determine candidate eligibility for positions
  • Depending on the geographic residences of potential employees, meet with candidates to discuss job opportunities and answer questions about company culture and benefits packages
  • Producing reports on hiring plans and metrics
  • Conduct initial phone screens to identify qualified candidates
  • Participating in job fairs
  • Following up with candidates throughout the hiring process
  • Maintaining a database of potential candidates for future job openings

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Currently have or willing to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Security Clearance at the Top Secret level
  • Proven experience as a Recruiter, or substantially similar role
  • Previous experience supporting cleared professionals and an understanding of the clearance process is preferred
  • Must have eight (8) to ten (10) years of related experience in recruiting, staffing, or human resources industry, preferably within the cleared community
  • Knowledge of sourcing techniques and niche professional websites like LinkedIn, Clearance Jobs, Indeed, Zip Recruiter, and others
  • Familiarity with labor and employment laws
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, Calendars, and SharePoint
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Ability to multi-task, organize workload, manage priorities, and meet critical deadlines
  • Must be able to effectively communicate and maintain a positive and professional working relationship with hiring managers and program managers to support their needs.
  • Must be able to adapt quickly and perform superbly in a fast-paced recruiting environment, simultaneously working multiple job requisitions to fill in a timely manner
  • Must be able to take the initiative and be proactive with minimal supervision when performing daily recruiting duties, taskers, and responsibilities.
  • Must be able to quickly establish rapport and build strong relationships with potential candidates to build a vibrant pool of qualified candidates to reach out source and recruit from when job positions open.
  • Must be able to accurately report daily recruiting activities.

Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred

Work is typically performed in an office environment, requiring the use of computer terminals and standard office equipment to accomplish work objectives.

Employee Status: Full-Time

Job Location: On site Herndon, Virginia. Remote telework is not available.

This is a full-time position working normal workday hours, Monday to Friday, with weekends and holidays off. Some short term travel within the United States may be required
