The Sechan Product Sustainment (SPS) Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all SPS activities to ensure the operational efficiency and safety of the equipment under service. This individual involves ensuring the reliability of equipment, managing budgets, and leading a team of technicians and support professionals. The SPS Manager will also be responsible for vendor management, contract negotiations, and compliance with all applicable regulations.
Position Responsibilities:
* Develop and optimize schedules to minimize DoD equipment downtime while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.
* Oversee and manage all SPS activities, including scheduled inspections, repairs, and modifications within the SPS environment.
* Develop and implement policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with Sechan QMS.
* Develop and manage the SPS budget, tracking expenses, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
* Lead and supervise a team of technicians, and support staff to ensure operational excellence.
* Coordinate with supply chain and procurement teams to ensure the availability of spare parts, tools, and equipment required for operations.
* Stay updated with industry advancements and opportunities to grow this ultimate profit center.
* Monitor and analyze performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and cost-saving initiatives.
* Support monthly customer status reporting.
* Perform other duties as assigned to drive the vision, fulfill the mission, and abide by the values of this organization.

Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent required, technical or related college degree preferred.
* Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience required in a manufacturing experience required.
* Mechanical aptitude including ability to read work instructions and engineering drawings.
* Ability to obtain/maintain a Department of Defense security clearance.
Work Environment:
* Production Environment: Requires physical capability to work in a production environment up to 9 hours a day including; sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities including; close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
* 1st Shift; occasional additional hours as needed
* 9/80 work schedule.
